It is a perfectly still night with a full moon and a thoughtful hush over the city. The past few days have been intense with anticipation and preparation. But tonight people were drawn to the lights downtown – we joined them – and shared a spectacular sight…

    As a fellow ex-South Australian, I love to hear your life in New York. I visited in 1989, just after surviving the San Fransisco earthquake and truly loved New York. I enjoy Rod Quinn and your conversations on ABC Lateline radio. I now live on the NSW South Coast (beautiful part of Australia.)
