This is a time to pause and be grateful for all the colour, the adventure and the opportunity. To be thankful for the love of family and the kindness of strangers. To know that life is what you make it, that pumpkin can decorate and be delicious. And to know that whatever happens next will be the cream on the cake…

What a lovely message – a wonderful reminder of all the good around us 🙂
I’ve been living over here since 2005 (originally from Wudinna!!! Not far from Port Lincoln!) in the St Louis area. Still can’t get my head around some of the ‘dishes’ served on thanksgiving, including wondering who first thought to make pumpkin into a dessert! Hope your thanksgiving was great… Merry Christmas!
And the same to you Mike. Wudinna, wow. I feel the same way about pumpkin pie, but the pumpkin ice cream we had this year was actually very delicious. Maybe because it didn’t really taste like pumpkin… The strangest thing for me is ‘brining’ the turkey. Corn beef maybe, but turkey…?!
